In the core of our company’s activities lies a special plan and vision: The “Refarming Greece” initiative.
Agrifarm is based on the cooperation with 55 Rural Families, in different refarming locations around Greece. In some small villages around Greece, carefully selected for their particular microclimates, there are Agrifarm’s suppliers – or our company’s “Family Farms”. These are the places where the unique Greek varieties of Legumes and Rice are grown, mainly by Young Farmers’ Groups that Agrifarm has formed.
In this way, young people are actively encouraged to return to the village where they come from, and not to leave because of the lack of employment opportunities.
Agrifarm also ensures that farmers are supported with specialized knowledge by scientists at Greek universities and research centers.
Another aspect of Agrifarm’s activities that is of great interest is the return of resources to farmers. Our company returns a share of its sales to local communities in order to develop sustainable communities, so-called “RefarmingHubs”, i.e. hubs for restarting agricultural production in a sustainable way.

Our farms
We focus on the Production and Standardization of high-end products of the Greek land, through the adoption of a specific farming model and the approach we call “Refarming Greece”.
The “Refarming Greece” initiative is about challenging the existing entrepreneurial culture in agriculture. Our aim is to change attitudes and promote synergies, economies of scale and a focus on specific microclimate zones.
