Long grain rice with shrimps

INGREDIENTS
500gr. Long grain rice AGRIFARM
24 shrimps No 3
2 medium onions, finely chopped
1 bay leaf
3 allspice grains
2 sprigs thyme
1 garlic clove, crushed
6 tablespoon(s) olive oil
Salt and pepper
Instructions:
Peel the shrimps, keep the shells, and add them to a pot along with the thyme, bay leaf, and allspice. Add water, boil for 20 minutes, and then strain and reserve the broth. In a pot put the olive oil to heat and add the onion, garlic and rice to fry for 2 minutes. Then add the broth (it needs to be 1 liter), otherwise top up with water and boil for 10 minutes over medium heat. Add the shrimps, salt and pepper, continue boiling until holes appear between the rice and there is no liquid left, remove from heat and cover with a cotton towel. Close the pot with the lid and let all the moisture go away for 30 minutes. Serve with pomegranate seeds and freshly ground pepper.
Tip:
You can add a cube of vegetable broth to the shrimp broth for more flavor.
